Life in Oklahoma 1.2



So, I did it! That's right, last night I got my first tattoo! :) Yay!

T and I went to a parlor here, she got an ambigram, that says Regret on one side and Nothing on the other, across her foot. I got the Life and Death ambirgram on my right wrist.

Whoo. My tattooist said I was a champ. I didn't flinch, cry, or bitch...lol. :)

One of the guys from Tiff's house, we'll call him JT, recorded almost the whole thing. He was like, "we have to have you losing your virginity on film..." *hangs head* Yes, he really did say that. It was even worse when we were back at the house and the girl who has moved in MJ was all like, "I watched Ginger lose her virginity tonight," and someone else piped up, "JT did you one better, he got it all on film..." The guys at the house were all "WTF", until someone took pity on them and told them it was my tattoo virginity...lol.

Work's been crazy. Same as it has been since I started, joy of joys.

Other big news? I get my iphone on October 25th! :) Yay! :) There will be much rejoicing and with the internet at my fingertips all will be right with the world again... :)

Tattoos really aren't as bad as you think they're going to be, are they? My first one was on my ankle, second on the inside of my right wrist. The only place those both "hurt" was right over the tendons and nerves, and even then, I've had cramps that were worse! I also have one on my right arm near my shoulder. I always tell people that really only felt like someone was tearing a band-aid off over and over again. I'm hoping to get a few more, a peace sign, a dalla horse and some tulips for my Swedish/Dutch background, possibly my name in rhunes, a couple more.

My brother is practically covered, easily 65% of his body. He said the only parts that really hurt were the tops of his toes, and the inside of his leg "up high", if you get my drift ;) I think piercing my cartilage hurt more than the tattoos!

And while I don't have it filmed, my losing of my "virginity" was celebrated with shots with the tattoo artist after she was done, something she likes to do with the newbies who were particularly brave :) Though, you haven't lived until your dad celebrates losing HIS virginity!
